HEDP chemical is an organophosphonic acid
scale and corrosion inhibitor. HEDP 230 chemical, HEDP Na4 is widely used as scale
inhibitor, deflocculant, sequestrant and water stabilizer in cooling
water systems. HEDP Na4 has a greater pH value and is even stable
under high temperature. HEDP is a highly effective chelating agent
and sequestering agent.
Tetrasodium etidronate is a chelating and sequestering agent that
attaches to metal ions to keep them from reacting with other
compounds in a mixture, and to prevent them from precipitating out
of solution as insoluble scums.
