BKC chemical, also known as alkyldimethylbenzylammonium chloride and ADBAC, is a mixture of alkylbenzyldimethylammonium chlorides of various even-numbered alkyl chain lengths. BKC is a nitrogenous cationic surface-acting agent belonging to the quaternary ammonium group. BKC has three main categories of use; as a biocide, a cationic surfactant and phase transfer agent in the chemical industry.

DTPMP chemical is normally delivered as salts, because the acid form has very limited solubility in water and tends to crystallize in concentrated aqueous solutions. DTPMP is a nitrogenous organic polyphosphonic acid. DTPMP shows very good inhibition of the precipitation of barium sulfate (BaSO4). At high alkali and high temperature (above 210 °C) environments DTPMP has better scale and corrosion inhibition effect than other phosphonates. DPTMP is a highly effective chelating agent and sequestering agent.
